Technology Risk Intern

  • Performed a policy audit and test of a bank, verifying policy compliance to FFIEC guidance
  • Analyzed audit data with ACL, Access, and Excel, reporting to assistant managers with exceptions
  • Designed an intern newsletter in Publisher, copy–edited content provided from other interns, and published to the Mid–Atlantic home offices. A copy is available here

Part–time Student Programmer

  • Implemented genome sequence downloading tool, allowing users to download genomic data for multiple genomes or organisms. Used PHP to create archives (tar.gz or zip) on the fly from individual sequence files. Page available at the PATRIC website
  • Assisted in launching new website: transitioned old PHP/XHTML pages to new stylesheets and databases
